AMPS Career Path

At Amethod Public Schools, we believe in providing our teachers and aspiring schools leaders with a coordinated pathway to success. Through our Career Path, educators can strengthen their teaching and leadership skills, increase their salary, and most importantly, guide their future.

At AMPS, we believe in fostering a culture that honors hard work and professional growth. We have created a system that allows educators to advance professionally based on a comprehensive portfolio that demonstrates their effectiveness and impact.

Why this is important

  • Developing and retaining effective teachers and leaders is a high priority for AMPS!
  • Teachers are individuals and professionals, not widgets. They should have individual growth plans that targets their growth needs.
  • A teacher’s only option to lead should not mean they must leave the classroom.
  • A teacher should be able to move up the salary scale faster based on a portfolio of multiple areas of the teacher’s profession that demonstrates effectiveness for kids.
