Carpool. Walk. Ride. Take public transit.
All AMPS schools are committed to reducing car travel and traffic, as well as, improving student health and safety.
Each schools has adopted a Safe Routes Policy to promote the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school, and ensure student access to education, promote regular attendance, and reduce tardiness.
Moreover, AMPS is committed to reducing emissions and traffic congestion and seeks to promote mass transit options for students
Our goal is simple: Have 60% of students carpool, walk, or take public transportation to school.
Every school has established a parent carpool lists. These list will be compiled of clusters (zones) based on student locations.
